Gandy Bridge is a classic Tampa Bay structure bite, bridge pilings, lights, and steady current that hold bait and predators. Expect snook, tarpon (seasonal), mangrove snapper, sheepshead, trout, and jacks, with better action around moving tide and low-light periods. Fish the down-current side of pilings where bait gets pinned, and work edges with live shrimp, freelined greenbacks, or vertical jigs. At night, focus on shadow lines and lighted water where bait schools gather. This is an excellent “after work” spot that can produce quality fish when you match the tide and keep your presentation tight to structure.
