The Catharina is a 71-foot tugboat-turned-motor-sailing vessel, intentionally sunk on September 8, 2010. Resting at a depth of 284 feet with 14 feet of relief, it’s a prime offshore fishing spot known for holding bait and attracting big-game species. The wreck is ideal for vertical jigging and drifting, especially when targeting Blackfin Tuna and Amberjack. Its deep, isolated location sees less fishing pressure, giving anglers a strong chance at hooking into aggressive pelagics in open water.
